Workshop shares insights with North Texans on local wildlife

The North Richland Hills Public Library is gearing up to host a training workshop, Learn & Grow: Critter Capers, where nature enthusiasts, wildlife lovers, and any other curious learners can embark on a journey into the world of North Texas critters.

Texas is renowned for its diverse wildlife, where even amid suburbia, fascinating critters thrive. Learn & Grow: Critter Capers aims to educate participants about the common wildlife found in North Texas landscapes, how to attract these creatures, and, most importantly, how to support them through carefully selecting plants in our gardens.

In collaboration with Keep NRH Beautiful, the free-to-attend workshop welcomes participants aged 13 and above, allowing families and individuals to bond over their shared passion for nature. Attendance is free, but spaces are limited, so interested individuals are encouraged to secure their spots early.

The session will be led by seasoned wildlife experts, sharing tips, engaging anecdotes, fun facts, and tips on coexisting harmoniously with the local wildlife. Organizers of events like this can use flyer printing to advertise the event to passersby in various strategic locations and streets in the town.

The workshop is scheduled for Thursday, August 10 from 5:30 pm to 6:30 pm. It will take place at the North Richland Hills Library Community Room at 9015 Grand Avenue, North Richland Hills.
