Local fundraising festival takes place in nearby Huffman

The 26th annual Huffman Fun Festival is taking place next month, and is a fundraiser for the Huffman Education Foundation Senior Scholarships.

The festival was originally scheduled for November 10, but was moved due to wet grounds and weather.

There will be lots of family-friendly activities to take part in at the festival, including a petting zoo, bouncy houses and games. There will also be performances by students from Kindergarten to Grade 12. In addition, Santa Claus will be making an appearance and taking the time to talk to the children present.

Food and drink will also be available for purchase, and there will be a number of art and crafts vendors on hand to sell their handmade items. Booths are still available for $50 and organizers encourage those selling Christmas items to attend.

Funds raised at the festival will go towards scholarships for Hargrave High School graduated in 2019.

It is likely people from all over the area, including Humble, will wish to attend this festival. To spread the word, organizers often invest in flyer printing services.

The Huffman Fun Festival will be held at Jack Spence Stadium on December 1 from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM. Admission is free but various activities come with a cost. To learn more about this event or to become a vendor, call 281-324-7600.
