The inaugural Gulf Coast Shakedown car show is taking place next month in Humble. It is presented by Chop Shop Magazine and The Chevy Boys of Houston.
This show is expected to be an annual event, and will feature custom cars, trucks, and motorcycles. Vehicles can be registered in advance or on the day of the show. Fees are $25 in advance, which includes entry to the show or $30 on the day. Participants will compete for trophies and awards in miscellaneous classes. The judging will begin at 2:00 pm and awards will be announced and handed out at 7:00 pm.
The show will also feature a car corral where cars and trucks will be available for sale, and a swap meet. Musical entertainment is set to be provided by DJs Walter D and W Bryant. All attendees will also receive a goodie bag.
Vendors will be on hand to sell a variety of car-related merchandise; fees are $100 for a small business or $200 for a corporation.
Humble poster printing firms are often asked to provide marketing materials to spread word in the community about upcoming festivals.
The Gulf Coast Shakedown will be held at the Humble Civic Center on September 22 from 10:00 AM to 8:00 PM. Admission is $15 for adults and $8 for children between the ages of 11 and 18. For more information, send Scott a text at 281-733-0903.
