The 9th Annual Houston Barbecue Festival will be held in Humble this April to allow people to experience the diversity of Houston-area barbecue.
The festival will not feature any competitions or rankings but will simply be a celebration of the Houston tradition of barbeque, and will recognize those talented chefs and cooks who make it. Some restaurants and barbecue joints that will be present include Blood Bros BBQ, Harlem Road Texas BBQ, Killen's Barbecue, Tejas Chocolate & BBQ, and The Pit Room.
The participating venues have been carefully chosen by the organizers, who visited over 100 barbecue joints throughout the city to find the best places that represent the quality, diversity, and tradition of Houston barbecue.
General admission tickets include entry into the festival and unlimited samples from all the barbecue vendors. VIP tickets include one-hour early entry into the festival, unlimited samples, one free drink ticket, and a T-shirt with the event Logo Design.
The 9th Annual Houston Barbecue Festival will take place on Sunday, April 3, from 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm. The hosting venue will be the Humble Civic Center Arena Complex on 8233 Will Clayton Parkway. General admission is currently discounted at $50, while at full price the tickets will be $70. VIP tickets are discounted at $100, while normally they are priced at $130.
