This August, Little Dreamers Corp. and Dreamcatcher Therapy & Wellness Services will present the Summer Movie Matinee for Humble families looking for a sensory-friendly experience.
Little Dreamers Corp. is a nonprofit organization dedicated to assisting Humble families with health, wellness, and nutrition. Dreamcatcher Therapy & Wellness Services provides pediatric occupational therapy services, autism diagnostic testing services, and nutrition consulting services to families with children with unique needs and circumstances. Together, these two organizations will offer a special sensory-friendly movie-watching experience for families with children who have sensory needs and may get overstimulated at regular events.
Taking place at Showbiz Cinema, the movie showing will feature dimmed lights, and each child will receive weighted lap pads, noise cancelling headphones, and fidgets. Attendees will also receive a free drink and popcorn for refreshments. Event organizers will have special giveaways planned for guests as well. All children and their families, regardless of sensory needs, are also welcome to attend the showing.
Local businesses often sponsor events like this by donating Promotional Products to the giveaway prize inventory. Such products may take the form of promotional Pens, coupons, and keychains.
