Humble to go wild about nature at festival

Next month, Humble will host the 20th Annual Nature Fest, a nature festival aimed at educating the public about local flora and fauna and getting people excited about nature.

The nature fest will feature 25 educational exhibits at the Jesse Jones Park to get attendees excited about the natural world. The event will kick off with a bird walk at 8:00am, and the stage acts will begin at 10:00am. During the show, there will be a Q&A with ambassador animals, as well as concessions and native plants and herbs for sale by volunteers. Other entertainment includes the Kids Zone, where children can get their face painted and make crafts with crafts with Wild Birds Unlimited-Kingwood and the Texas Master Naturalists.

Hiking enthusiasts will have the chance to hike with the Harris County Precinct naturalists and the Houston Women’s Hiking Group. Attendees can also get their photo taken with ambassador animals from The Wildlife Center of Texas, the Houston Humane Society, the Downtown Aquarium, and the Texas Hawking Association.

Such festivals are often advertised through flyer distribution in high-traffic areas, and organizers can get these Flyers printed at Print shops offering flyer printing services.

The nature fest is slated for March 2 from 8:00am to 2:00pm. Jesse Jones Park is located at 20728 Kenswick Drive, and the event is free to attend.
