Humble will play host to the 9th Annual Hops ‘n Hot Sauce Festival this January.
For eight years and running, the festival has been highly anticipated for fans of hot peppers and craft beer. The event will feature numerous vendors of spicy food, with selections varied enough to please a range of different palates and preferences. The hot sauces will feature different levels of spiciness from mild to fire hot.
There will also be local food trucks serving delicious meals and snacks from a variety of cuisines, and SpindleTap Brewery will be onsite serving their refreshing craft beer selection. Attendees will enjoy various carnival-like activities and entertainment as well, including but not limited to a mechanical bull, photo booth, and hot pepper-eating contest. DJ Abran will be present spinning groovy tunes for the enjoyment of the guests.
The festival will also offer a unique shopping experience with vendors selling not only peppers and hot sauces but also pepper-related products and merchandise. At events like this that encourage vending and advertising wares and products, vendors may decide to also bring along a supply of Business Cards to offer potential customers as they peruse the vendor booths.
The hot sauce and hops festival is scheduled for January 18 from 11:00 am to 5:00 pm. It will be held at the Humble Civic Center, located at 8233 Will Clayton Parkway.
