In September, Humble stamp collectors should note that the annual Greater Houston Stamp Show is coming to town for three dates.
The Greater Houston Stamp Show will be hosted by the Houston Philatelic Society, which is Houston’s premier stamp collecting society. The organization focuses on not only collecting but also postal history. It hosts member meetings, auctions, and trade shows like the one happening next month.
The stamp show will feature over 25 dealers and over 50 exhibit booths, with something for the whole family to enjoy. Attendees can spend several hours looking at all the different stamp collections presented by national stamp collectors. Guests are also encouraged to donate their Stamps, old catalogues, and old mail to the Beginner’s Booth, which then donates the philatelic material to children and novice adult collectors to help them build their own stamp collections.
The venue will provide a cool, spacious place with plenty of food and beverage options for purchase. There will also be hourly door prizes and Promotional Products given out.
The Greater Houston Stamp show is scheduled to run from Friday, September 17 through Sunday, September 19. The show is free to attend, with registration available on Eventbrite. The venue is the Humble Civic Center on 8233 Will Clayton Parkway. The civic center will also provide free parking.
