The 10th oldest tour event, the PGA Tour, will come to the Humble area in the spring.
The event attracts thousands of spectators from cities nearby such as Houston, Georgetown, and Greenville.
The Shell Houston Open is presented in partnership by Houston Golf Association and Shell Oil Company. Golf events in the region have generated more than $55m for local charities and causes since 1974.
The PGA Tour will feature 144 of the best golfers in the world, who will be competing for the $6m in prize money.
Volunteers are the key to a successful tournament each year for the Shell Houston Open. They must be 21 years of age or older and work together to ensure the event runs smoothly and all needs are tended to efficiently and professionally. Volunteers may register online and will need to purchase a uniform.
Catalog printing is an option for providing reference communication in an organized manner. The catalog can serve as a program featuring the golfers, organizations, sponsors, and other activities. Advertising space may also be sold to generate revenue. The Catalogs create a souvenir of the experience as well.
