Humble preserve festival to celebrate nature

The Jesse H. Jones Park & Nature Center in Humble will hold the 18th Annual NatureFest next month to celebrate the wonders of nature.

The Jesse H. Jones Park & Nature Center is a nature preserve of over 300 acres in Harris County that features a variety of wildlife, plants, and landscapes, including swamps and cypress trees, white sand creekside beaches, and a floodplain nestled in a pine and hardwood forest. The preserve also contains over eight miles of paved, accessible trails, as well as many more primitive trails. The nature center is open daily free of charge and holds all of its events and programming for free to community as well.

The Naturefest will feature family-friendly guided tours by which guests will learn various things about the natural world. There will also be hiking opportunities, live animals, and a kids fishing session. Nature experts will be on hand to give presentations, and there will be over 40 educational exhibits for attendees to explore.

Nature events open to the public are frequently advertised using Flyers hung in community centers or libraries. Print shops specializing in flyer printing can provide useful services for organizers choosing this method.

The 18th Annual NatureFest is scheduled for Saturday, March 5, beginning at 9:00 am. The nature center is located at 20634 Kenswick Drive, Humble. Admission is free for the public.
