Humble hot sauce festival to provide spicy fun

The 7th Annual Hops n' Hot Sauce Festival will take place in Humble this upcoming January to celebrate National Hot Sauce Weekend and raise money for charity.

Nic Nat Promotions will head the event, which is billed as a family-friendly festival celebrating all things spicy and hoppy. A portion of the proceeds raised from the festival will go towards Addi’s Faith Foundation, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that provides support to families with children with cancer and finances cancer research. The host sauce festival has raised over $10,000 for the foundation in the last two years, and organizers hope to surpass their previous goals this year.

Attendees will enjoy unlimited samples of salsas, seasonings, and hot sauces, as well as jams, jellies, and pickled products. There will also be craft beer available to purchase from SpindleTap Brewery. There will be family-friendly activities, such as capturing memories at the free photo booth, and popular food trucks will be present to offer unique Houston bites.

Such festivals are often advertised through Flyers that can be distributed throughout the community. Organizers can receive help printing Flyers at local shops specializing in flyer printing.

The festival will take place on January 21 from 11:00 am to 5:00 pm. It will be held at the Humble Civic Center at 8233 Will Clayton Parkway. Admission for one person is $10, and for two people it is $17.
