DD’s Showbiz has been hosting its Theatrical Summer Camp since June, and it will continue into July for Humble kids and teens looking to hone their performance skills.
A community theater venue, DD’s Showbiz hosts a variety of events, including improv nights, birthday parties, stage plays, and independent film showings. The theater also provides educational classes, such as acting classes, for both adults and children. The Theatrical Summer Camp has been ongoing since June, with each week going over a different performing arts theme. The camps provide children and young teens with hands-on experience and foster self-confidence, self-care, and teamwork.
The July five-day camp is geared towards ages 7 to 16. The learning activities may include improvisation, scriptwriting, poetry, story dramatization, and theatre games. Students do not need any prior experience in theater or other performing arts. At the end of the camp, students will perform what they have learned in a special showcase for parents and loved ones.

The camp is scheduled for July 18 through July 22, from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm. It will take place at 233 Farm to Market 1960 Bypass Road East, Humble. Registration is $175.
