This March, all women entrepreneurs in the Humble area are invited to the Women’s Council of Entrepreneurs Coffee & Connections event.
The Women’s Council of Entrepreneurs (WCE) is a membership-led organization that offers support and resources to women entrepreneurs. It was created by entrepreneurs Ali Everhard and Melissa Rouswell to fill the need for local solo businesswomen to receive help, guidance, and community. Membership is never necessary to attend the organization’s special events, but members do receive special perks.
The coffee event in March is designed to provide an opportunity for female entrepreneurs to meet other women like them and share their experiences and receiving guidance from more experienced attendees. Attendees are encouraged to network, form new connections, and promote their businesses during the event. There will be no same-day registration at the door, so those interested must register online to be guaranteed a spot.
Such social events are often ideal places for business professionals to exchange both ideas and Business Cards with likeminded individuals. Expertly formatted business cards can be printed at most shops that specialize in business card printing.
The coffee and connections event is scheduled for March 14, beginning at 10:00 am. It will take place at YogaOne Kingwood, located at 2525 Green Oak Drive. It is free for premium members and their guest, but anyone is welcome to come if purchasing a guest pass.
