Humble charity golf tournament celebrates another year

Next month, the Annual Hearts of Houston Golf Tournament will celebrate its third year of friendly golfing competition and giving back to the Humble community.

The Hearts of Houston is an event planning company that provides outdoor networking activities for professionals. Every year it hosts the Hearts of Houston Golf Tournament to raise money for charity and provide a fun, casual networking environment.

The tournament will follow a shotgun scramble format in which players will compete for both individual and team prizes. Prizes to be awarded include Best Team, Closest to Pin, Hole in One, Longest Drive, and Putting Contest. Golfers can choose to either register as an individual or as a team, and registration fees will go toward a charity yet to be announced. The registration fee will cover each participant’s green fees, range fees, carts, breakfast, lunch, three drink tickets, and non-alcoholic beverages.

This year’s tournament is scheduled for Saturday, August 21. Breakfast begins at 7:00 am and the shotgun scramble starts at 8:00 am. Ticket prices range from $50 to $5,000, depending on the sponsorship level selected. The tournament will be held at the Tour 18 Golf Course.

Charity events like this often present good opportunities for networking, so participants may require services like business card printing to prepare and make the most of the day.
