Golf tournament to raise funds for emergency care

The Lake Houston Area Chamber of Commerce is holding its 24th annual Chamber Golf Classic later this week in Kingwood. It is a fundraising event for the Texas Emergency Care Center and Kingwood Medical Center.

Play will take place on the Island and Forest courses, and fees will include breakfast, a gift card for a pop-up pro shop, a dinner buffet, drinks, and an awards presentation. Play format is a four-person scramble, which should provide a networking opportunity for local business leaders.

All of those who register for the tournament will receive a ticket for Party on the Green taking place a couple of days after the tournament. Guests will enjoy music, dinner, dancing, and a cigar bar. There will also be auctions and a putting contest.

Organizers of the tournament may work with local Stationery printers to help recognize sponsors from the area including Humble. This could include banner and Signs both on the green and at dinner.

The Chamber Golf Classic is being held at Kingwood Country Club this Thursday, May 14, from 9:30 am to 5:00 pm. Fees are $250 per person. The Party on the Green will take place at the Deerwood Club on Saturday, May 16, from 6:00 pm to 1:15 am. Tickets for the party only are $75 each. Call Christina O'Dell at 281-319-8905 to learn more.
