The 10th annual Bicycle Ball is taking place next month. It is a fundraising event for Elves and More.
The evening will start off with a cocktail reception, and music will be provided throughout the night by Skyrocket. Guests will also enjoy a sit-down dinner and can bid on live and silent auctions. Organizers promise there will be lots of fun activities, and that they will be making a landmark announcement.
Those who wish to help are encouraged to donate an item to the auctions, although the deadline to do so is tomorrow, August 28.
Tickets for the ball are $500, $750, $1,000, $1,500, and $2,000, and tables for 10 are also available. Those who register before August 30 will be named in the event program.
Elves and More provides at-risk children with bicycles for Christmas. The child must make a commitment to take their education seriously and participate in extracurricular activities. If the child does not fulfill the contract, he or she does not get a bike. They are mentored all along the way by a trusted adult.
Local printing companies will likely provide advertising products to attract people from the area, including Humble.
