Fundraiser helps ensure local rodeo continues

The Boots and Buckles Ball is being held in Humble next month, and is a fundraising event for the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo.

Guest will enjoy a dinner, silent and live auctions, and musical entertainment. No alcohol will be served, but guests are welcome to bring their own.

Entertainment will be provided by the Honky Tonk Revivalists and Jason Cassidy. The auctions are expected to offer a variety of prizes such as rodeo tickets, vacations, and Western-related items.

A VIP table of 10 can be purchased for the ball for $1,000, and will be in a prime location. Each guest at the table will receive a special gift and recognition from organizers.

The Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo is set to take place at NRG Park from March 7 until 26. This is only one of several fundraisers that will be held from January until March; others are the Redneck Ball, the Western Gala, and the Parade and Stampede.

Those who purchase a VIP ticket may be recognized by signage provided by a Humble printing company.

The Boots and Buckles Ball will be held at the Humble Civic Center on January 28 from 6:00 PM to midnight. Tickets are $60 per person or $500 for 10. For more information about this event or about the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo, contact Janna Pokluda at 361-655-6562.
