Every student who goes to a school in the Humble ISD is getting free meals from school at no extra cost.
The students now have the option of getting one breakfast and one lunch at school every day. On-campus learners can select their meals from the menu. A la carte options are available as always for those who wish to make a purchase.
Meals are also available to all virtual learners aged from 1 to 18 years old. Free curbside meals are being distributed on Mondays and Wednesdays, with pickups starting at 9:00 am and ending at 10:00 am. Two breakfast meals and two lunch meals are distributed on Mondays. Three breakfast meals as well as three lunch meals are handed out on Wednesdays. Graphic designs can be used to present schedules like these.
The curbside meals can be collected from Elm Grove Elementary, Park Lakes Elementary, Timberwood Middle School, and Humble High School, among others. Some of these schools are handing out the meals at the back entrance for the cafeteria.
Families who have multiple children in different grades can collect their meals from any single location. Each is serving slightly different meals and some of them may require cooking. Guardians and parents will have to bring proof that their children are enrolled at specific schools. Student IDs and proof of enrollment are required.
The began last month and continues until December 18, and is funded by the USDA.
