The Party on the Green is taking place on the last Friday of this month in Kingwood. It is a presentation of the Lake Houston Area Chamber of Commerce.
This is an annual get together for members of the Chamber and is one of the major networking events of the year. This year's theme is ‘Luau’. Guests will be treated to cocktails, drinks and dinner. The suggested dress is cocktail casual.
There will also be a silent and a live auction. The live auction will be presented by Dave Martin, Brad O'Dell, and Merrill Taylor.
There will be a raffle for either an Apple watch or a Big Green Egg Cooker. Tickets are $20 each or $100 for seven. Winners do not need to be present to win.
In addition, there will be a team cornhole tournament that all guests can sign up for.
The evening will finish off with the Edward Jones After Party.
This popular event usually attracts over 400 Chamber members from all over the area, including Humble. Many planning to attend will likely be bringing along their Business Cards to exchange with their peers.
The Party on the Green will be held at the Clubs of Kilgore on May 31 from 6:30 to 11:00 PM. Tickets are $100 each and table of eight are available for $1,000. Contact Stefani Kilgore at 281-446-2128 for more information.
