Nature Fest 2017 is taking place next month in Humble. The theme of this year’s festival is ‘Let’s make the outdoors great again’.
This event acts as a sort of open house for Jesse H. Jones Park and Nature Center. Guests will have the opportunity to learn all about the work the organization does and to discover all aspects of the park. The park consists of 300 acres and contains different types of plants, fish, birds, mammals, and reptiles. Visitors can also enjoy canoeing as well as walking and bicycle trails.
There will be nature tours led by expert guides and pontoon boat rides on the river. Expert speakers will be holding a variety of presentations and visitors will have the opportunity to meet some of the live animals that live in the park. There will also be crafts and games for the children and a catch and release fishing booth.
No doubt families from all over the Humble area will jump at the chance to get a close-up view of the operations of the park and nature center. To help spread the word, organizers might work with a local printing company to produce marketing materials.
Nature Fest will be held at the Jesse H. Jones Park and Nature Center on March 4 from 9:00 AM to 3:30 PM. Call 281-446-8588 for the latest information.
