The fourth annual West Texas Wine Festival is returning to Abilene in October. The event, which is a fundraiser for Frontier Texas, will host a variety of activities for attendees.
Guests will have the chance to listen to live music while browsing the various food trucks and wineries available at the festival, which will be held at the Frontier Texas Outdoor Parade Grounds. The wineries and food trucks are often local, although sometimes there are regional options available as well. Sometimes, wineries and food trucks that attend festivals like this use printing services to create take-home information for visitors.
There are four different tiers available for tickets. Non-drinker admission is $10 and provides access to the festival. The most common tier is general admission for $50. It includes access to the festival and 10 one-ounce pours. Early bird general admission is $40. It also provides access to the festival and 10 one-ounce pours, but is only available through October 5. The final tier is VIP admission for $100. This tier provides access to the festival, 10 one-ounce pours, entrance an hour early, and lunch and snacks.
The West Texas Wine Festival will take place on Saturday, October 17 from 12:00 noon to 5:00 pm. The address is 625 N. 1st Street in Abilene. Tickets are available on the Frontier Texas website.
