Abilene luncheons give tip of the hat to agriculture

Abilene is proud of the role agriculture plays in its overall economy, and an activity organized by its Chamber of Commerce will give the inside scoop on the sector.

The organization will be hosting its Quarterly Ag Luncheon. Sharon’s BBQ, located at 849 E Highway 80 has been chosen to serve as the venue for the occasion. Everyone is reminded to bring their Business Cards so they can take full advantage of the occasion.

Along with the chance to mix, mingle and network, the activity will provide an insight into the current state of the area's agricultural sector, as well as a view to its future. Everyone can choose their own meal, and the price will depend on what they select. Those who plan to attend are encouraged to bring along a friend or colleague, and as it is open to both Chamber members and non-members, ticketholders should have an excellent chance to extend their contact network.

Lunch and learn events can compress a lot of information into just a few hours, and learning materials are often distributed. Professional printers can provide everything from Brochures to promotional Pens to tuck into a presentation folder.

The Abilene Chamber of Commerce will be giving area agriculture the spotlight on Wednesday, October 28th. Its Quarterly Ag Luncheon will run from 11:30 am until 1:00 pm.
