INVINCIBLE: A Glorious Tribute to Michael Jackson is, according to some critics, the best tribute to the King of Pop on offer. The show was created by Darrin Ross, who searched all over the world for artists who were able to reproduce Jackson's dance moves and vocals to perfection.
Ross has been with Jam On Production since 1984, engineering and producing songs. He has also worked with the Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater, and won a New York Dance & Performance Award (Bessie) in 2001.
The duties of choreographer fall to Lavelle Smith, Jr. A long-time friend of Jackson's, Smith has worked with artists such as Rod Stewart, Diana Ross, and the Rolling Stones.
The show features different artists portraying Jackson at different points in his career, some concentrating on his dancing, while others replicate his vocal performances.
