Myrtle Beach is proud to be home to the largest golf event for law enforcement officers, and this weekend will be the 24th time the city hosted the event.
Legends Golf Resort will be the location for the 2024 National Law Enforcement Officers Memorial Golf Classic. A limit of 360 players has been put in place. Those interested can sign up as part of a team of two or four, and play will begin each morning with a shotgun start.
Registrants for the tournament will be raising funds for the memorial for fallen officers in Washington, and a goal of $50,000 has been set. There are various ticket options available, and those who choose the golf-only pass will receive a practice round as well as three tourney rounds, the use of range balls, daily breakfasts, lunches, and dinners. Welcome Corporate Gifts and an awards banquet are all included as well. There are other registration choices, including ones that offer lodging as part of the package.
Along with the player sign-up options, the organizers have created a sponsorship program. Raffle and contest tickets may be ordered when reserving a player spot or sponsor package.
This fundraising tournament starts at 9:00 am this Sunday, October 27, and runs until next Friday, November 1. The registration process can be completed by visiting the organizer’s website.
