Professor Lizette Reid, M. Ed., will hold the Team Building Retreat: The Path to Professionalism in Myrtle Beach this July for childcare professionals.
The Team Building Retreat will help childcare organizations and their team members build stronger relationships and hone their professional skills, all the while having a fun, collaborative experience. Reid and her team will identify each team’s problem areas and provide solutions to issues such as absence of team identity, poor communication, division amongst staff, lack of trust, and burnout.
The retreat will feature a line-up of expert facilitators and speakers who will lead engaging workshops covering topics such as stress management, effective communication, innovative teaching techniques, and fostering creativity. These workshops will help attendees in their daily interactions with the children they care for. There will also be plenty of fun team-building activities, outdoor adventures, and engaging games. Networking will play a big role in the retreat as well, with attendees mingling with other like-minded childcare professionals.
Participants of retreats with networking opportunities will often prepare for the event by printing out a fresh supply of Business Cards to distribute.
The Team Building Retreat is set to take place on July 15 from 9:00 am to 7:00 pm. It will be held at Breakers Resort on 2104 North Ocean Boulevard. General admission is $197.
