Next month, the Ghost RTR will hope to break the Guinness Book of World Records for largest parade of Mustangs by holding the Final MUSTANGWEEK 2022 in Myrtle Beach.
Delayed in 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic and then again in 2021 because of rain, the Final MUSTANGWEEK 2022 will return this July for the final attempt at smashing the Guinness World Record for longest parade of Mustangs. The record was previously attempted at the Charlotte Motor Speedway in 2019 to no success, so this final attempt will be held rain or shine.
The parade will be open to all gas-powered Ford Mustangs, and all vehicles must be insured and registered, as well as operated by licensed drivers. After registration, each Mustang will be issued a number that will be used to pick up registration packets in a timely manner. Participants will also be mailed a certificate and commemorative decal. At the actual event, there will be a live DJ and professionals hired to help with observing and certifying.
Organizers of events that involve printed materials such as certificates and packets often utilize the services of local Stationery printers.
The parade is scheduled for July 28 from 6:00 am to 9:00 am. It will take place at Broadway at the Beach on 1325 Celebrity Circle. The car registration fee is $20.
