Broadway at the Beach is set to welcome an annual celebration that kicks off the holiday season for Myrtle Beach, and this popular activity will once again take place in the community.
The gathering, which will include a tree lighting ceremony, has been planned for mid-November. It will be held in the evening, and the festivities will get started with some fun activities for the kids; these will be hosted at The Hangout Courtyard.
The official tree lighting will be held at Broadway at the Beach, and there will be pre-show fun supplied courtesy of The Hangout Dynamics. The show itself will open with remarks from its hosts Jennifer Abney and Ed Piotrowski from WPDE. Live performances have been planned, and Santa himself will take to the stage. The experience will offer the spectacle of the lighting of the community’s 46 foot tall tree, and a fireworks display will wrap up the evening.

The 2024 Tree Lighting Ceremony will be on offer at 1325 Celebrity Circle on November 16th. The kids' activities will begin at 2:00 pm , and the celebration itself will start at 4:00 pm.
