The holidays are on the way, and Myrtle Beach is celebrating with two special events – one naughty, one nice.
Naughtiness raises its head in the form of that green-skinned joy stealer, the Grinch. People who have the courage can have lunch with the Grinch, and play video games as well, in Whoville, which will be created at Dave & Buster’s. Food stations will be set up where people can buy French fries, chicken bites, and pizza bites, make their own sliders, or enjoy macaroni and cheese. Tea, coffee, and soda will be available in unlimited quantities.
As part of the Grinch event, attendees will be given a $20 power card for unlimited play of the video games at Dave & Buster’s.
Once the lunch is finished, people can enjoy another iconic event that day, a holiday parade. Every year, the North Myrtle Beach Christmas Parade, which makes its way down Main Street to Ocean Boulevard.
People who want to attend the Grinchy lunch will need to buy tickets ahead of time via Eventbrite, and check in on this Saturday, November 30, from 12:00 pm until 2:30 pm. The lunch is set for December 7, from 12:30 pm until 3:30 pm. Anyone who would like to eat and play video games will need a ticket, which will expire on December 7, at the end of the day. The parade steps off at 5:30 pm that evening and finishes around 7:00 pm. Poster printing can be used to generate publicity for events like these.
