Grand Strand Young Professionals ( GSYP) is an advocacy and support group based in Myrtle Beach, and it recently announced that it will be heading to a local putt putt range for a mini golf mixer.
Mt. Atlanticus Miniature Golf will be the venue for an active networking event, and it's been dubbed “ Birdies on the Beach”. As it will raise funds for a local charity, it will be fun with a purpose, and it will take place on a Saturday morning in late September.
The registrants for the session will be served a buffet style breakfast before they show off their putting skills in the friendly competition. Everyone can try their luck in the door prize and raffle draws, and the monies raised will be donated to Substitutes for Santa, which is an initiative that will make the winter holiday season brighter for at least 150 kids.
There is a sponsorship program in place for the morning, and this starts at the Hole Sponsor Level and goes up to the Presenting sponsor. These all include tickets to golf, and the base registration fee for a team of four is $100.00. Many event organizers reach out to their local business community seeking the donation of funds of Corporate Gifts in kind to help make a fundraiser a success.
The Birdies at the Beach fundraising mixer will take place on September 28th at 707 N. Kings Highway. The fun will get started at 9:00 am.
