The South Carolina Beach Advocates will celebrate a decade of beach preservation efforts at the 10th Anniversary Annual Meeting in Myrtle Beach next month.
The South Carolina Beach Advocates is a nonprofit organization founded in 2015 with the mission to educate government agencies, local businesses, elected officials, and the public about the importance of conserving South Carolina’s beaches and inlets. The organization is made up of a board of directors consisting of the mayors and administrators of beach communities in South Carolina.
The 10th anniversary meeting will celebrate the successes of the organization's beach advocacy throughout the years. There will be presentations and panel discussions from industry experts and esteemed speakers, as well as an interactive field trip. Attendees will be able to connect with like-minded peers who are involved in their own beach preservation efforts, expand their professional network, and learn from more seasoned individuals in the field.
