A show for those in the resort and souvenir industries is coming up in Myrtle Beach, a city where tourism is a huge industry.
The Myrtle Beach Convention Center will be the site of the Grand Strand Gift & Resort Merchandise Show, which is also called the Big Kahuna. The event is the country's longest running, as well as the biggest, gift show for those working in coastal resorts. It has been an annual event for over 35 years.
The show will offer over 800 booths, giving retailers a chance to see items they can successfully incorporate into their stock. The show will have a selection of products from leading gift and resort manufacturers, and sales representatives will be on hand. All categories of products, including general gifts, beach Apparel, licensed products, coastal and nautical items, novelties, souvenirs, and gifts suitable for resort sales, will be displayed.
Confirmed exhibitors to date include Allfootwear, New Wishing, Havana Sun, Art Brands, Royal Resortwear, and Steamboat Stickers, with more to come. In addition, the first 100 retailers to arrive on the first and second days of the show will receive a tote bag filled with gifts from exhibitors.
The dates and times of the show are December 6, from 9:00 am until 5:00 pm, December 7 from 9:00 am until 5:00 pm, December 8 from 9:00 am until 5:00 pm, and December 9 from 9:00 am until 2:00 pm. Flyer printing can provide handouts for attendees at events like this.
