Upcoming women's events help local cancer foundation

Two fundraising events are taking place in the Royersford area this April that will raise funds for Julia's Grace Foundation.

The Spring-Ford Chamber of Commerce will be hosting the 2015 Women in the Network (WIN) Fashion Show in Pottstown. It will feature men's and women's clothing, and there will also be door prizes, a raffle and a 50/50 draw. Guests will enjoy a sit-down luncheon, and those attending are asked to donate clothing items to Dress for Success, which provides business clothing to women.

Later on in the month, Designer Bag Bingo is taking place at the Friendship Firehouse in Royersford. There will be 16 bingo games, along with a raffle and a 50/50 draw.

Julia's Grace Foundation is an organization that provides support for children with cancer and their families. It is in honor of Julia Grace Everland, a local elementary schoolgirl.

Royersford Stationery printers are often asked to provide products such as Flyers to publicize fundraiser like these.

The WIN Fashion Show will take place at Brookside Country Club on April 9 from 11:00 am to 1:30 pm. Tickets are $25 each. Contact the Spring-Ford Chamber of Commerce at 610-7200 to learn more.
