Babysitting gives young people an opportunity to earn some money while developing their sense of responsibility, and a Royersford area activity will help the area's newest sitters hit the ground running when it comes to their new business.
The Limerick Township Building will be hosting a Babysitters Clinic, and it will follow the syllabus set by the American Red Cross. It's for kids from the ages of 11 to 15, and it will include six hours of instruction.
The workshop will be focused on caring for infants and young children, and it will include the basics of first aid. The learners will discuss a variety of topics ranging from how to keep a child entertained to developing leadership and business management skills. Tips for keeping their charges safe will be shared, and to help the organizers plan for the activity, advance registration is needed.
