Royersford workshop welcomes spring

A Royersford area arboretum offers the public a venue where they can discover and reconnect with nature, and it has an activity on its agenda that will welcome spring’s arrival.

Jenkins Arboretum and Gardens will be wrapping up March with a workshop that will involve crafting gemstone bracelets by hand. Beads of a Feather’s owner Jessica O’Connell will facilitate the session, and both members and non-members may take part.

A celebration of the change in seasons and the arrival of spring, it will include a guided meditation as well as calming live music, and everyone will be taught how to prepare a one-of-a-kind gemstone bracelet using the materials provided. All items needed for the project are covered in the registration fee, which starts at $44.52. The session will run for one and a half hours, and it is suitable for teens and adults.

A crafting class or workshop like this is usually an informal affair, and a flyer printing company can lend a hand in a variety of ways. It can provide marketing materials as well as sign-in Forms and tip sheets to distribute to the attendees, giving them something to take home.

Jenkins Arboretum and Gardens will be opening the spring season with its Gemstone Bracelets: Connect with Nature class on Saturday, March 29. It will start at 10:30 am.
