Royersford vet techs invited to learning opportunity

Veterinary technicians who practice in Royersford or the communities that surround it will soon be offered a chance to take a seat in a workshop that can help them add to their professional skillset.

Those who register for Hope Veterinary Specialists’ tech talk will walk away better informed about how to provide care to aging dogs. Continuing education credits may be available for the participants, and this is administered under the Registry of Approved Continuing Education (RACE) program.

The event will open at 7:00 pm with a dinner and welcome, and at 7:30 pm, the keynote speaker will take to the podium. Dr. Craig Clifford and Anne Sholly, CVT, VTS will share details about the latest developments in helping to prevent weight loss in older dogs, and will have a focus on a palliative care setting. After this, there will be a question and answer session.

An event like this can give professionals a chance to add to their own toolbox of skills they can call on when caring for their charges. Certificates that indicate that a veterinary technician has completed the event can be prepared to give out to the attendees by Stationery printers.

Hope Veterinary Specialists, which is located at 33 Three Tun Road, will be hosting this learning opportunity on August 21. It is free to be a part of the session, but registration is required.
