Royersford to enjoy movie in the park

The organizers of a Royersford evening event recently put out a call to the community, and their response helped to plan an upcoming outdoor evening.

Residents were asked what movie they would most like to see on the big screen, and the resounding favorite was the 1985 cult classic “The Goonies.” It will be shown outdoors, and all ages are welcome to be part of the gathering.

Everyone who is interested is encouraged to bring along a blanket and folding chair. Since it may be chilly in mid-October, they might also want to take some additional warm covers to bundle up in. Coolers and Bags are welcome so the audience can enjoy their favorite snacks while they watch the show. Scoops of ice cream will be served for as long as supplies last, and this will be on offer courtesy of Handel’s of Royersford.
