Royersford puts rabbits in the spotlight

A Royersford area venue that is home to some rabbits will be welcoming the Easter season with a bunny-themed event.

Area families are being encouraged to hop on in for an activity that will take place at Upper Schuylkill Valley Park, which will introduce them to its resident rabbits. The listing explained it is best suited to kids from the ages of 3 to 7, and a suggested donation of $4.00 per attendees is recommended. Two dates have been scheduled so as many people as possible can attend.

During the gatherings, a facilitator will discuss the behavior and diet of the rabbits, and they will also review the differences between the domesticated companion animal bunnies that descended from European wild rabbits and the native local cottontail rabbits and snowshoe hares. Everyone will be able to make a craft to take home, and as space is limited, parents and guardians are reminded to register their child well in advance.

Kids may enjoy learning about wildlife, and an in-person workshop or other activity can provide a chance to do so. Copies of handouts for an informational activity can be prepared by Stationery printers, which can also provide small Promotional Products to distribute.

Upper Schuylkill Valley Park will have Royersford hopping with these bunny information sessions on April 11th. The session will begin at 11 am and run for one hour.
