The National Night Out initiative brings neighbors together for an evening of family-friendly fun, and Royersford will be joining communities of all sizes across the USA in hosting one of the activities.
The city’s National Night Out will be a block-style party that both salutes the community’s first responders and encourages neighbors to get to know one another. It is a volunteer driven activity, and all support will be appreciated.
The organizers of the event, which will be held in early August, are seeking sponsors, vendors and other community assistance. Local businesses can show their support for public safety, and both financial support and the donation of Corporate Gifts in kind, such as items for a raffle prize basket, will be welcome. Block parties and other neighborhood gatherings can be a lot of fun, and often attract a high number of attendees. Vendors and community service organizations can have materials prepared in advance by a brochure printing company, and these can then be handed out to the crowd.
Royersford will be celebrating National Night Out on Tuesday, August 5 at the corner of Washington and 4th. The rain date for this free public gathering will be the following day, August 6.
