A Royersford park is set to get some love, and locals have been asked to roll up their sleeves and lend a hand.
Victory Park will be the recipient of some TLC when helpers take part in the Earth Day Clean Up planned for the venue. Everyone can get involved, and all help will be appreciated.
The organizers of the day will be distributing trash Bags and other supplies, and the runtime for the function is one hour. Before they get to work, those who are interested will be able to be part of a free yoga session that facilitated by The Bridge Wellness Hub, and this will be on offer at the shuffleboard courts. Anyone who would like to be part of this portion of the day is asked to bring some drinking water and their own mat.
A community clean-up or other service project can really make an impact while also increasing awareness of local environmental issues. Promotional Pens and other small items can be prepared to distribute to the helpers to thank them for their hard work.
Victory Park will be treated to this morning of environmental care on Saturday, April 20. The yoga session will start at 9:00 am, and the clean-up project’s start time is 10:00 am. There is no charge to get involved and no need to register.
