Royersford offers community shred

Royersford residents who would like to make sure their documents are securely disposed of may find that an upcoming event will be just what they have been looking for.

GMI Insurance has made arrangements to host a mid-October community shred, and this service will be on offer at no cost to the public. Two shredding trucks will be parked on site, and the organizers have issued a request that everyone consider bringing along a generous gift of supplies, gift cards or a monetary donation for Orion Communities, as these will be passed along to the area’s less fortunate.

Along with the chance to have documents securely disposed of, the function will include donuts and coffee for the public, and a prize draw will also take place. Those who plan on taking advantage of the offer are asked to remain in their vehicle, and staff will remove the materials and take them to the shredder.

A list of items has been prepared by Orion Communities of the items they need the most, and this can be found online. Promotional Products offer a way to thank the public for their support of a fundraising initiative, and these can be sourced from a local printer.

This chance for Royersford residents to help their neighbors in need and also ensure their personal papers are properly handled once they are no longer needed will take place on October 11th. It will be held at 99 Starr street in Phoenixville.
