Royersford golf tournament to reach out to LEO families

This fall, the spirit of “those who play together, stay together” will be behind a golf fundraiser to support families in the Royersford area law enforcement community.

The LEO Only golf tournament fundraiser has spots for up to 80 law enforcement officer (LEO) golfers, and it will be held at Twin Ponds Golf Course. This will be its eighth year, and the play will follow a four-person scramble format.

Players will open their day with registration, after which they can take a seat for lunch at The Grove pavilion. Noon will see the players tee off in a shotgun start, and soda, beer and snacks will be provided on the course. The play will be followed by dinner. Everyone will have the use of a cart and bag drop service, as well as access to the locker room. Prize draws are also on the agenda.

Along with the other perks of being part of the tourney, the function will provide the players with cart Signs and score cards, as well as printed rule sheets. Stationery printers will be happy to prepare a wide selection of such materials for special occasions.

The LEO Only golf fundraiser will be getting into the swing of things on Sunday, October 23. Single tickets for the golf and dinner are $125 each.
