Royersford fundraiser to offer evening of thrifty fun

An evening of bingo is planned for Royersford, and will help raise money for a local cause.

The function is held once each month, and every session has its own charity of choice. For June, the players who take a seat for the game will be supporting the Nothing Down organization, which works to be an advocate for, and improve the lives of, those living with Down's Syndrome. The listing recommends it as an idea for a girls’ night out or a date night, and even kids can join the excitement.

The players will be trying their luck at winning a prize donated by local vendors, and they can choose to purchase a sheet for the items they would like to win for $1 per sheet. Each business will supply two prizes.

Events that are exciting and fun tend to attract a crowd, making them a good choice for a fundraiser. Pop-up and other reusable banner styles for almost any occasion will be on offer at area banner printing companies, suitable for outdoor use if necessary.

The doors for this evening of bingo in support of Nothing Down will open at 7:30 pm on Friday, June 17. it will be held at 269 Green Street in Royersford. An admission fee of $5 will be charged at the door.
