Royersford foodies are about to rejoice thanks to a local event that will be putting food first.
For more than 20 years, Phoenixville eateries have put their best foot forward in the annual Taste of Phoenixville, and it is set to make its return. While it will be food focused, it will also raise money for a local not-for-profit organization, and it has consistently proved to attract a large crowd.
At least 20 vendors have signed on to take part in 2024, and there will also be an assortment package to bid on in its silent auction. Live music will be playing so the guests can show off their moves on the dance floor, and it is slated to take place at Franklin Commons. A VIP reception is in the works, and a goal of raising $120,000, which will be used to fund projects undertaken by Good Samaritan Services, has been set for the occasion.
A fundraiser focused on food may be a good fit for the products and services on offer at area Print shops. They can provide everything from drink tickets to poster printing, and will be able to work with most budgets.
This tasty way for Royersford residents to do their part when it comes to tackling homelessness and poverty in the community will be welcoming foodies on January 18. The VIP entry time is 5:00 pm, while general admission pass holders may arrive starting at 6:00 pm.
