Choosing a proper infant car seat is an important step for new parents in keeping their child safe, and an upcoming Royersford area activity will make sure they are installed correctly.
The Limerick Fire Department will be offering the public an opportunity to attend its Car Seat Check Clinic, and it has a date on the way for August. Appointments for this can be scheduled ahead of time, and it will be free of charge.
During the appointments, certified technicians will work with the participants one on one. It will be hands on, and everyone is asked to install their car seat before they arrive. They will also need to supply the owner's manual for their vehicle. Both infant and booster seats can be checked, and any questions or concerns can be forwarded to the organizers at carseat@montgomerycountypa.gov.
Flyers can be helpful tools in marketing an activity to do with child safety as they offer illustrative instructions that can be referred to again and again. Print shops will be happy to prepare them, along with stickers and other Promotional Products.
The Limerick Fire Department has invited all area families with a “baby on board” to book a timeslot for its August car seat check. It will be on offer on Tuesday, August 15 at 390 West Ridge Pike from 9:00 am until 2:30 pm.
