Royersford area to dig in at local farm
A Royersford area farm will be introducing the public to its new educational spaces in a few weeks.
Lundale Farm will be offering a sneak peek behind its front gate when it hosts its Spring Garden Planting. It will provide an introduction to the Trellis for Tomorrow initiative, and everyone will have the opportunity to get their hands dirty.
During the activity, the attendees will lend a hand in planning the site’s new educational garden, and they will then install plants and perform other horticultural chores. No experience is needed during what may be a chance to pick up some new gardening skills. Beverages will be provided, along with the tools and other equipment, and the food grown at the location will be donated to local community feeding programs.
One of the goals of the farm is to help connect people in need with fresh, healthy produce on their doorstep. A brochure printing company can prepare many types of marketing materials for a not-for-profit organization without causing it to worry about its bottom line.
The team at Lundale Farm in Pottstown has made plans to offer this in-person planting day on Friday, March 22. The work will begin at 4:30 pm. It is free to join in, but anyone who is interested can register through its listing on Eventbrite.
