Royersford area food drive to include special visitor

Appropriately at what is a time for giving, a Royersford area event will see the public make sure their neighbors in need have food on their tables.

The crew at Steel City Coffeehouse and Brewery will be welcoming the public for a three-hour-long celebration of the holidays season, and the agenda for the occasion is filled with activities. All ages are welcomed, and to help make the function a success, the planners have asked community members to volunteer to get involved.

The plans for the morning include an arts and crafts table, as well as a kids table, and Santa has scheduled a stop to enjoy the festivities too. Those who make a donation to Phoenixville Area Community Services will be able to have their photo taken with The Big Guy in Red, and this service is on offer courtesy of Chorus Photography.

The planners of the function explained that attending the celebration will make it easy for the public to lend a hand to their neighbors in need. Many food pantries and other feeding programs prepare lists of the items they need the most, and these may be included in the materials prepared by a Stationery printers to promote an event.

This chance to do a good turn for others while enjoying a morning of festive fun is scheduled for December 11. It will start at 9:00 am, and the venue is located at 203 Bridge Street in Phoenixville.
