Royersford beer lovers will soon have a reason to rejoice, as an event has been planned that will feature dozens of ales, beers, wines and other spirits.
This year will be the third for the Phoenixville Beer and Wine festival, and it will offer a curated selection of over 150 craft beers, spirits, wine, cider and mead. Its organizers are expecting that it will draw a crowd of thousands and will likely be a sellout event.
Along with the beverages, guests at the festival will be treated to food prepared by area food trucks as well as live entertainment and even a crafters’ alley where they can browse through works produced by area artisans. These different activities will be on offer in a series of pavilions that will be set up for the day in Kimberton Fairgrounds, and the planners noted this is to help keep the lines short at each of the stations that will be on offer.
Admission to the event is by ticket, and these are currently being sold for $45 each. Discounted passes are available for groups and designated drivers, and each person who pays the full ticket price will receive a tasting glass printed with a special graphic design that has been prepared just for the occasion.
The 2019 Phoenixville Beer and Wine Festival is set to be held on May 11. Everyone who is at least 21 years of age is welcome.
