A chilly winter evening in Royersford can be a great time to enjoy an outdoor walk, especially if during an event set to be hosted by the Jenkins Arboretum and Gardens.
The site will be holding a luminary walk, which will see its path lit by dozens of luminaries. The trees will also be filled with thousands of twinkling lights, and while they enjoy the experience, the participants can feel good knowing their support will help to keep the arboretum open for years to come.
The plans for the event call for its paths to be lit with luminary lanterns, and floating lanterns will also be adrift in the pond. Once they have had their fill, they can head to the garden’s John J. Willaman Education Center where they can warm up with a hot beverage and a bite to eat. Beer will also be available for purchase by any of the attendees who are 21 years of age or older, and while the event is free, donations will be greatly appreciated.
An occasion like this can give a local attraction a chance to shine. Signs and other decor can help to make it an enjoyable experience for everyone who attends, and a printing services company can supply them.
Jenkins Arboretum and Gardens will be adding some extra sparkle to the holiday season with its Winter Luminary Walk. It will be welcoming ticket holders on December 13.
