Regional chefs compete for glory at annual event

The 13th annual Carousel of Flavor Culinary Festival is taking place next month.

Several local chefs and restaurants will be competing in the Best of Class competition. Titles up for grabs are Best Appetizer, Main Dish, and Dessert. They can also compete for Best Decorated Space and Most Ticket Revenue. The public will be able to sample all of the food by purchasing tickets. Space is still available for food providers who wish to participate; the fee is $100 for a 10 x 10-foot space.

Arts and crafts vendors from the area will also be on hand to sell their handmade and original items. Some of the things they will be selling will likely include jewelry, clothing, decorative accessories, and paintings. Those who are interested only have to pay a $20 fee for space. There will also be musical entertainment, food trucks, and a wine and beer garden for the adults.

It is likely the competitors will come from all over the area, including nearby Royersford. Those who plan to vie for the Best Decorated Space may decide to invest in colorful Signs or Banners provided by local printing companies.
