Families in and around Royersford can attend an event designed for individuals on the autism spectrum.
The Autism Fall Fest will have activities designed to limit sensory overload. The festival will feature attractions with short wait lines, and quiet spaces with bean bag chairs. During the hayrides, attendees can request heavy blankets. Finally, live music will be in one area of the festival to prevent overstimulation.
Guests can also have their faces painted, get some temporary tattoos, or check out the sensory areas. In addition, there will be a petting zoo, pony rides, and horse therapy opportunities. An arts and crafts tent will have pumpkin painting. Other highlights include a ropes course and massage therapy.
Food trucks with gluten and casein-free items, and vegetarian or vegan options, will be on site. Attendees may also bring in their own food.
Admission for adults costs $8 or $10 at the door. Tickets for children between ages 4 and 18 cost $5, or $8 at the door. Kids under age four are free. Families with four or more members can get in for $25. A Stationery printing service was likely involved in making tickets.
The Autism Fall Fest will take place on October 3 from 11:00 am until 4:00 pm at Fellowship Farms, located on 2488 Sanatoga Road in Pottstown. For more information, call (484) 454-8700.Get a Free Quote for Stationery
